Cover Story not only focuses on promoting  the writings of African American Authors, but has decided to become involved in our community.  The ladies of Cover Story will be participating throughout the year in various community service projects, where we as a group feel a strong desire and are willing to commit time toward a worthy cause.

VALENTINES FOR VALOR: February 2003:  This was our first community service project, organized by Dinah Anderson.  She found an article in the Newspaper from a lady in the Houston area asking the community to help her send Valentines to the military men and women stationed abroad. Help Our Sister Out While serving in the middle east March 2003.  The group got together and purchased items for one of our members who was serving our county in the Middle East.  It was just a little something we wanted to do to help her stay away from home go a little smoother.
